Children’s Ministry
We are dedicated to teaching kids about Jesus on their level. Volunteers can serve in the nursery, Kidstuff (for K5 – 4th grade), or Treehouse (for 5th and 6th grade). Each week, many teams work together to provide a safe and fun environment for learning. There are opportunities for teaching, as well as for acting, leading worship, preparing snacks and games, and more. Our Child Check-in Team welcomes families and ensures every child is checked-in to their age-appropriate classroom.
Student Ministry
Alive Student Ministry exists to help middle and high school students find and follow Jesus. The main way volunteers serve at Alive is by becoming a Life Group leader. Life Groups are small groups of students and leaders that meet immediately after teaching to discuss how to apply God’s Word to their lives. Other serving opportunities include Check-In, Worship Leading and Tech Team, Crowd Control, and Dollar Dinner.
Guest Services/Welcome Team
We want everyone who joins us on Sundays to have a great experience. Our Guest Services volunteers help make this possible by greeting every guest as they enter the building and answering questions at the Guest Services booth. These volunteers are on the frontlines of ministry and you can join them!
Counseling
Trained volunteers called Lay Counselors serve the North Hills family in their place of need. Lay counselors help others apply the truth of the Gospel to their lives through the power of the Holy Spirit in areas of sin and suffering such as anxiety, depression, marital struggles, and relationships.
