Women's Ministry

One thing the last few years have taught us is that women need each other. At North Hills, women’s ministry is all about women connecting with women challenging one another to grow in Christlikeness. Whatever stage of life you are in, you will find opportunities to join other women as we love, grow, and serve together.

First Sundays 9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Community Room

Join us in the Community Room in between services on the first Sunday of every month for coffee, information, and fellowship. This is a great way to meet others, find out the latest, and maybe even win a door prize!

Eight week sessions in Spring and Fall  9:30 – 11:30 a.m. & 6:55 – 8:30 p.m. in the Community Room

The focus of our women’s Bible study is to learn how to study the Bible together. Large group discussion is followed by meeting in small groups for discussion, encouragement, prayer, and accountability.

Workshops available Fall, Spring, & Summer from 8:15 a.m. – 12 p.m. on a Saturday in the Community Room

Topics include how to develop relationships for mutual spiritual growth, how to be an active participant in small groups, how to lead biblical discussions in any venue ( Bible study, Life Group, home Bible study, etc.) as well as spiritual formation including prayer, exploration, and application of spiritual gifts and individual strengths.

Second Sundays 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Community Room, Building C

Mosaic Ministry to Single Moms provides a monthly luncheon for moms and their families to have lunch together for encouragement and help in getting connected to other ministries at North Hills.

Bi-Weekly on Thursday 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in room B102, Building B

Join a group of new and experienced crocheters and knitters to meet together for fellowship and to work on simple projects, such as baby items, ladies and children’s hats, and scarves to be donated to local ministry partners.

Refresh Fun Night

Friday night 7 – 11 p.m.
Four times a year in the Community Room, Building C

Bring your favorite snack or game, or don’t! The choice is yours. We invite you to simply enjoy the evening and meet some new friends. Even if games are not your thing, please come! There will be plenty of space (and coffee!) for good fellowship and conversation.

*Childcare is not available for this event.

Living Joyfully Widow's Conference

Annual Living Joyfully Widows Conference: In addition to a time of sharing and teaching by our keynote speaker, we also have workshops that will inspire and give practical helps for living joyfully followed by a special time of pampering.

Come be spoiled. Let us serve you! This event happens in the spring of each year and is open to the community.

Women's Retreat

Occurring every other year, the Women’s Retreat is a weekend designed to refresh your soul as we gather together away from our normal routines to focus on our relationship with God and to enjoy community.

You’ll have the opportunity to deepen relationships, rest in God’s presence, and take time to unwind and relax.
