When we partner with another organization, we truly believe it is a partnership.
We are committed to providing volunteers, funding, and resources as the partner helps equip us as a church to know more about their area of expertise and how to better share and show Jesus to others.
Our hope is that everyone in our church sees a way they can participate in sharing the love of Jesus either through an NHC ministry or serving with one of our local outreach partners.
Local Organizations We Volunteer With
Piedmont Women’s Center is a trusted provider of reproductive health care serving the upstate of South Carolina and surrounding areas.
Their involvement with professional community partners enables Piedmont Women’s Center to provide free laboratory quality pregnancy testing, free pregnancy consultations, and free limited OB ultrasounds at three locations in the Upstate region.
Currently over 125 school-related Good News Clubs are held across Greenville, Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties reaching over 9,500 children each week.
Whether meeting on campus after school or at a community facility, these clubs provide an opportunity for children in the Upstate to hear the Gospel and learn truth from God’s Word.
Eleos is a ministry of Lead Collective with the mission of equipping and elevating youth leaders in the way of Jesus from historically under-resourced communities.
Eleos specifically does this through neighborhood-centered services including leadership training, open gym, and after-school. Open gym and after-school are incredible opportunities to participate in this community transforming work.
North Hills partners with Brook Glenn Elementary to provide supplemental reading intervention for students who are not at grade level.
Students arrive and spend time playing outside, eating a healthy snack, hear a Bible lesson, and then spend significant time with a volunteer reading and practicing sight words.
Score is a ministry of NHC to Brook Glenn Elementary. This is a holistic summer learning program where students are taught a variety of subjects, arts, and the gospel.
North Hills partners with others in the community to provide meals each month to identified homeless communities around Greenville.
Volunteers gather at NHC the Thursday night before the third Sunday of each month to meal prep from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. This can be done by individuals or whole life groups.
Addiction Recovery
Renewal is one of the most effective Christ centered recovery centers in the upstate.
Ladies are not just given surface level work to become free from addiction but instead work hard to discover what is driving that addiction. They are introduced to Jesus and how life following Him will be transformational.
