Serving the Homeless
North Hills partners with others in the community to provide meals each month to identified homeless communities around Greenville.
Volunteers gather at NHC the Thursday night before the third Sunday of each month to meal prep from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. This can be done by individuals or whole life groups.
The following Sunday, all of the meals are heated up and any last minute details are finished before leaving the church at 3 p.m. The meals are then taken to drop off points where the food is served.
There are also opportunities to serve the food at University Ridge at 3:30 p.m. This is an incredible way to serve this community and meet new people. Volunteers are needed for both Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons.
