SCORE Summer Camp is looking to hire six teachers for the summer. Our summer camp will be a 6-week, half-day program and serve 30 students from Brook Glenn Elementary School. Teachers’ roles will include classroom teaching as well as participation in different themed activities throughout the day with the goal of getting each student up to grade level moving into the next year. We would love for you to be a part of our team this summer!
SCORE Summer Camp is a 6-week summer program where students will receive intensive reading, writing, math instruction, a daily Bible lesson, two meals and a snack, life skills training, enrichment opportunities, STEM activities, and extensive outdoor activities, including weekly swim lessons/training. Our goal is to provide the students with academic, social, and life-skill confidence to SCORE higher grades as well as have an introduction to understanding the Bible. North Hills Church will invite the families of the SCORE Summer Camp kids to participate in special events throughout the year as well as offer them an opportunity to attend the SCORE Literacy Program (after school tutoring) during the school year.
Dates: June 12-July 27 (except the week of July 4)
Times: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
