Join us on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a Child Safeguarding Training hosted by G.R.A.C.E. (Godly Response to Abuse in the Church Environment).

This training is open to our church family. Whether you serve in a ministry or simply want to help foster a safe and caring church community, you are encouraged to attend.

Together we’ll learn practical ways to strengthen North Hills Church’s commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and trustworthy environment where children are protected and cared for.

Description of Services: GRACE Safeguarding Training

GRACE’s Safeguarding Training is designed to give any and all adults in the church skills to contribute to safety in the community. The training will focus on the necessary tools to recognize, prevent, and respond to abuse in a godly way, as well as care for survivors. This training will address common forms of abuse with a particular focus on clergy abuse and abuse within a church setting. The training is PowerPoint-based and interactive throughout.

 

This training will cover the following topics:
