Joel Taylor was born and raised in Grand Blanc, Michigan and graduated from Hillsdale College before moving South where he worked for 25 years and raised four children (Justin, Sam, Madi, and Emily) with his wife Peggy. Joel and Peggy have been members of North Hills since 2001 and they have served together as Life Group leaders, marriage mentors and lay counselors. Joel currently serves as an elder and came on staff in 2012 as the Pastor of Outreach before moving to work with Life Groups.
Little known facts:
- Joel passed the FBI entrance exam in order to be selected as a special agent.
- He lettered in baseball at Hillsdale College and lettered in football, basketball and baseball in high school.
- He is a novice artist and loves to paint landscapes and work with wood.
