Gregg Babetz first connected with North Hills over 20 years ago through a Life Group (known as Shepherding Groups back then). He arrived at that small group broken and hurting—really struggling with his faith, but God used the people in that group to forever change his life.
Gregg met his wife, Stephanie, in that small group, and they were married in 1998. Together, they are raising five, amazing (although sometimes crazy) children—Sam, Claire, Emma, Henry, and Maggie.
Gregg has been serving as a Life Group leader for more than 15 years. He also began serving as an elder in 2015, and in 2016, he joined the staff as Director of Community Life where he was able to spend every day helping connect members to Life Groups. Currently, Gregg is serving as Executive Pastor of Staff Leadership, Connections, and Community Life.
Little known facts:
- Gregg was part of a team of athletes/drivers that competed in a 12-hour, off-road, adventure race known as “Land Rover TreK.”
- Gregg is originally from Austin, Texas, and is a huge Texas Longhorns fan—especially Longhorns football—Hook’em Horns!!!
