Barry Wingo and his wife Candy began attending NHC while on home assignment from Mexico in 1996. Since returning from Mexico in 2015, Barry has helped as a Lifegroup co-leader, in lay counseling, on the Missions Committee, and as Lifeline Coordinator for NHC missionaries. He’s served as elder since 2019.
His passion is to be an advocate for the unengaged people groups of the world and help bring them light and hope in the clear gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason, he and Candy still serve full time as missionaries with Ethnos360, now in Member Care, connecting with and encouraging missionaries. Barry and Candy have been married for 44 years and have three married children and eight grandchildren.
