HUSBANDING 101: It’s Time to Look More Like Jesus to Our Wives

In Ephesians 5, Paul defines the bottom line for marriage as parallel lines between a husband and wife and Christ and his church. He gives three times more instruction to husbands than he does to wives. Why is that? Maybe, just maybe, this is because in searching for an analogy of the love that husbands must have, Paul talks about the love that Christ does have.

If we are honest, we might admit that being a husband is really not like we thought it would be. For all the joy and intimacy that’s talked about, how to biblically relate to our wives like Jesus loves his church is more than a bit of a struggle. It is not that we don’t want to succeed … we simply lack the tools.

During this nine-week course, Antone Goyak and Jim Phillips lead us through four beautiful aspects of the life and model of Jesus in Scripture: Listening, Learning, Loving, then Leading. Come learn how each of these can produce transformation in your marriage.
