Scott Jacobs began serving as an Elder at North Hills in January of 2017. He has been traveling full-time in Christian music since 1998 and founded Commandment 11 Ministries in 2005, a music ministry that shares the gospel with people in prisons and rehab centers all over the country. Scott and his wife, Tara, started attending North Hills in 2004 and became members in 2011. They have two children, Trey and Hannah. Scott and Tara both enjoy serving in Worship Arts at North Hills whenever they have the opportunity. Scott is passionate about outreach and missions and would love to help connect members at NHC with opportunities to minister in unique ways to hurting people in our local community. His life verse is Philippians 1:6, “And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus.”
Scott grew up in Boiling Springs, PA, but has resided in Simpsonville, SC, since he and Tara married in 2003. In his free time, he enjoys coaching his son in little league and keeping up with the Redskins, Yankees, and Celtics.
