Leadership

Elders lead the church as humble servants. To serve as an elder, one must meet the qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9 and complete our elder development process.

The elder board is made up of 3-12 elders. Additional elders serve in a variety of leadership roles in the church.

Peter Hubbard has been serving as the Teaching Pastor since 1992. He is married to Karen, and they have four adult children, two daughters-in-law, and a grandson! He has two Master’s Degrees and has earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Peter experienced God’s saving grace through Jesus at a horse ranch in Canada when the Holy Spirit convicted him of his delusional self-rule, called him to repent and believe, and poured out His undeserved favor. Peter’s life verse is 2 Timothy 1:9, “Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of His own purpose and grace, which He gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.”

God’s purpose and grace continue to energize Peter to preach through the Scriptures, listening carefully to what God says and how his Spirit applies his Word to the hidden, hurting places in our hearts. He loves to see the transforming power of the gospel shine into the darkest, most difficult struggles.

For fun Peter might read, write, play games, take long walks with Karen, and endure persecution for cheering for the Patriots.
